Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Production Control, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Warehousing, or Manufacturing required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with supervisors, sales personnel, customer service personnel, and department managers.
• Computer literate with general knowledge of software related to materials management.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word and intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel required.
• Proficient in mathematics and statistics related to business applications.
• Ability to handle detailed written information and instructions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing terminology and protocol.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of the master schedule for assigned items and ensure timely communication with internal customers.
• Identify and communicate material and resource shortages to remove roadblocks and expedite as needed.
• Manage manufacturing order recommendations via SAP S/4Hanna (expedite, release, defer, cancel).
• Re-create lost or missing work orders.
• Ensure current revisions of engineered drawings accompany the work order.
• Inform Master Scheduler of late parts to minimize disruptions and enable schedule smoothing.
• Ensure work orders are updated with decisions from other tasks.
• Review discrepancy jobs weekly.
• Assess new demand daily.
• Communicate with shop floor to retrieve and delete unnecessary work order packets.
• Maintain data integrity: material order quantity, lead time code, lot size constraints, safety stock.
• Identify discrepancies in planning data outside your area of responsibility.
• Maintain departmental knowledge base and participate in meetings.
• Provide feedback to management on procedures, materials, and scheduling.
• Maintain a service-oriented mindset with coworkers and customers.
• Promote OSHA and environmental compliance.
