Job summary

Wipro Givon USA is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain schedules that maximize capacity and ensure on-time delivery. You will work with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Quality, and Program Management to resolve shortages and adjust plans as priorities shift.

Minimum 3 years of planning experience in manufacturing and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) are required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, or production control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in ERP/MRP systems; Epicor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules to maximize manufacturing capacity and ensure on-time delivery.
• Plan, prioritize, sequence, and release production work orders based on demand, material, labor, tooling and capacity.
• Monitor schedule adherence, WIP, progress, and capacity utilization; adjust schedules for constraints.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and shortages by collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Procurement, Quality, and Program Management.
• Expedite critical work orders and develop recovery plans to minimize disruptions and meet commitments.
• Maintain planning data, work orders, routings, due dates, and scheduling information in the ERP/MRP system.
• Communicate priorities, changes, and delivery risks to Operations and leadership for alignment.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes in production schedules with minimal disruption.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify improvements in schedule attainment and efficiency.
• Participate in daily production meetings and capacity planning for continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
