Job summary

Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Production Planner to create and manage production schedules, analyze capacity, and drive on-time delivery.

You will act as the information bridge between operations and sales to optimize capacity and quality. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in operations or business and 3–5 years in manufacturing, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with MRP software, preferably SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, business, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Familiar with MRP software; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain summary production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Serve as primary information conduit between operations and commercial departments.
• Perform schedule analysis including critical path, schedule risk, and variance investigations.
• Monitor capacity and resolve constraints using level-loading, expediting, and outsourcing as needed.
• Identify and resolve critical schedule issues proactively.
• Lead resolution of urgent manufacturing issues to support the master schedule.
• Integrate and analyze data related to backlog and history.
• Compile and analyze KPIs and visual management indicators.
