Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate raw materials, purchasing, scheduling, and shipping to align with customer needs. Local candidates in Tennessee are preferred, with a focus on production efficiency and timely deliveries.

You will manage orders, plan daily work, optimize routes, and maintain accurate material records while collaborating with sales and plant teams to meet changing requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control, loading, and shipping procedures.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: receive orders and set delivery dates based on material availability and schedules.
• Production Planning: establish plans and daily schedules for hourly personnel.
• Shipping and Logistics: select carriers, coordinate shipments, optimize routes.
• Inventory Management: place material orders and maintain BOMs.
• Communication: coordinate interplant transfers and updates to teams.
• Documentation and Compliance: prepare certificates and oversee inspections.
