Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Production Planner in Adelanto, CA. You will manage orders, develop production schedules, coordinate shipping, and control inventory to meet customer demands. Strong Excel/Office skills and reading shop drawings are essential.

You will collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and logistics to optimize material flow, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain accurate records. This role emphasizes a proactive, organized approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory control, loading, and shipping procedures.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: receive orders, set delivery dates based on material availability and schedules.
• Production Planning: establish production plans and daily schedules for hourly staff.
• Shipping and Logistics: identify best carriers, coordinate shipments, optimize routes and loading plans.
• Inventory Management: order raw materials, manage BOMs, maintain inventory levels and records.
• Communication and Coordination: inform sales and plant personnel about material availability and changes.
• Documentation and Compliance: prepare certificates and oversee inspections as required.
