Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a temporary production planning professional to ensure on-time delivery and optimize production flow in a high-mix environment. The role focuses on planning, scheduling and coordinating activities across production, materials and engineering to minimize lead times and inventory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production planning or material management experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and decisively to changing requirements.
• Strong judgment and initiative with ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Experience in high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing environment."
• Previous experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor final approval of products through production cycles.
• Coordinate production plans to ensure materials meet schedules.
• Interface with management across marketing, sales, production and engineering.
• Address design-change related labor and material shortages and schedule interruptions.
• Support ECOs in production and work with purchasing on supply solutions.
• Analyze long lead time parts and collaborate with procurement on supply strategies.
