The Production Planner will collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure accurate bills of materials, timely work orders, and on-time completion by coordinating material issuance, data entry in the MRP system, and cross‑department communication to optimize production

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a production planning position/environment with related skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office with Word, MS Project and Excel.
• Strong MRP system experience.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Extreme attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
• Self-motivation to drive growth and change to support future organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and drive the regular workflow and tasks of our production plans
• Ensure accuracy of all production related documents and proper data input to the MRP
• Update production schedule daily to communicate when deliverables will be completed
• Maintain estimated material lists and bills of material to ensure all materials are issued and production orders are closed in a timely fashion
• Ensure accurate data entry in the MRP system and provide support to others when needed
• Ensure production paperwork is created, processed, and compliant with internal and external requirements
• Coordinate with other departments/customers to ensure there are no barriers to meeting deliverables
• Complete reports as requested by the Production Manager
• Maintain and improve processes and procedures for efficient operations
