Job summary

Unitech Composites, located in Hayden, ID, is seeking a Program Planner I to translate customer purchase orders into actionable daily production plans. You will input orders into the ERP system, build tactical schedules, and ensure orders start on time relative to the master production plan.

The role supports sales, estimating, and business development with production planning expertise, coordinating with buyers and engineering to keep schedules on track.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9100D requirements.
• Experience with Sage 100 or similar ERP/MRP system.
• Lean green or black belt certification preferred.
• Ability to handle correspondence effectively and efficiently.
• Writes with clarity and consistency.
• Advanced MS Excel skills within MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer purchase orders to ensure receipt, negotiation, and input into the ERP system.
• Review existing purchase orders and align with production capabilities.
• Manage customer scorecards and provide timely feedback.
• Provide status updates on customer purchase orders.
• Coordinate with production buyers to meet material and tooling needs.
• Collaborate with production supervisors on short- and long-range resource planning.
• Develop daily production schedules and weekly production plans.
• Create and release work orders to the production plan.
• Monitor production performance against the plan and communicate progress.
• Support continuous improvement efforts across operations.
