Job summary

Hedy Holmes Staffing Services is seeking a Production Planner to support daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has experience using MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, manages work orders, coordinates materials, and helps ensure production schedules are met.

Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential. The role involves coordinating with production, inventory, and supply chain teams to resolve scheduling issues and maintain timely

Qualifications

Experience using MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Create, monitor, and update work orders according to MPS/MRP production requirements.
Track work orders from material preparation and kitting through completion.
Monitor and expedite work orders to help meet production deadlines.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to maintain production schedules and workflow.
Identify material shortages and coordinate replacements with the appropriate departments.
Communicate work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production delays.
Generate shipping documents using MRP systems.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
Work with production, inventory, and supply chain teams to resolve scheduling issues.
