Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Planner to support APBU production execution by reviewing backlog, releasing work orders, and monitoring material and capacity constraints. The role requires strong analytical capability, advanced Excel, and the ability to interpret MRP signals and Parker tools such as eCapacity and eProcurement.

The planner will work cross-functionally with Operations, Materials, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
• 1–3 years of planning/scheduling/inventory control experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP and planning processes
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis ability
• Experience using Parker tools (eCapacity/eProcurement) preferred
• Critical thinking and ability to adapt to changing production conditions
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review daily backlog to evaluate job starts and priorities
• Release and maintain shop floor work orders daily
• Monitor material availability and capacity constraints for plan adherence
• Read and act on MRP signals to support decisions
• Use Parker tools (eCapacity/eProcurement) to support capacity planning
• Conduct daily Gemba walks to identify bottlenecks and recovery actions
• Communicate risks, schedule changes, and material shortages to management
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Materials, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering
• Coordinate with Parker locations globally to meet customer requirements
• Maintain planning data and reports for visibility of status and inventory
