Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• Three years minimum in production planning, materials planning, scheduling, or similar manufacturing planning role.
• Experience working directly with a manufacturing shop floor and cross-functional teams.
• Strong hands-on production planning, material flow, work order management, capacity planning and inventory control.
• Ability to manually evaluate demand, capacity, shortages, priorities and constraints to create executable schedules.
• Experience with supply chain concepts and manufacturing through internships or training.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Innovator and advocate of lean principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains manual production schedules based on customer requirements, material availability, labor and machine capacity, production flow, and shop floor conditions.
• Reviews demand, backlog, open orders, work orders, and inventory levels to determine production priorities and schedule requirements.
• Plans, schedules, and manages production capacity loads to support on-time delivery.
• Purchases parts, materials, equipment, and services required to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Collaborates with shop floor leadership to understand status, constraints, and capacity.
