Professional Placement Services is seeking an experienced Planner II for a semiconductor fabrication facility in Hayward, CA. The role manages production planning and control for assigned lines, ensuring material availability and schedule adherence, while coordinating with vendors, purchasing, engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC skills.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP applications.
• Ability to build relationships with internal customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Handle production planning and control for assigned line(s).
• Coordinate plans to ensure materials align with schedules.
• Manage purchase orders from creation to closing.
• Resolve production control problems and shortages.
• Interface with customers to schedule deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, purchasing, and operations.
• Maintain good relationships with Outside Vendor Suppliers (OVS).
• Ensure RVN clearance with Receiving Inspection, Purchasing and Accounts within 3 days.
