Job Overview

Create and maintain weekly production schedules to meet and fulfill customer needs. T he purpose of the job is to create a plan efficient plan for the mid-term. Considering capacity, availability of raw materials, packaging and overall lead-times. By controlling the mid-term horizon you are the one who identifies and resolves/escalates the gaps and/or opportunities. In this position you are also the back-up of the Raw Material Replenisher / Production Planner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly production schedules in OMP OPR planning software and in existing overviews. This includes a weekly meeting with relevant stakeholders for alignment.
• Makes proposals for ordering raw materials for the mid-/long term. This in consultation with the Replenisher & Demand Planner
• Create/modify bulk process orders for blending/filling
• Review and maintain MRP settings.
• Schedule/replenish packaging components from plant-to-plant and/or warehouse
• Continuous improvement (Process improvement, Set-up KPI’s, improvements in OMP software)
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Experience in Production/Supply Planning, continuous improvement, working in SAP, Working with Scheduling systems ordering of components and art of follow-up, task manager
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Less then 3 years of experience as a Production / Supply Chain Planner
• Proven successes within Continuous Improvement CI
