This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient production flow, balancing capacity and material availability, and ensuring on-time customer delivery.The Production Planner will develop, own, and manage the Master Production Schedule based on production capacity, material readiness, labor availability, and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end production plan, ensuring alignment with MRP requirements, capacity constraints, and customer delivery commitmentsCreate and maintain the Master Production SchedulePlan and release work orders based on sales orders and forecastsMonitor work in process throughout the manufacturing operationLead production review meetings and drive discussions regarding build-plan status, constraints, and recovery plansPartner with Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance to maintain the Internal Operating PlanMonitor shipment performance and escalate issues that could affect customer commitmentsPrepare scheduling reports, dashboards, KPIs, and status updates for operations leadershipTrack actual shipments against forecasts and identify performance gapsWork closely with Manufacturing to develop a stable production schedule that accounts for capacity, yield rates, Kanban flow, and nonconformance dispositionAdjust daily delivery schedules when production issues affect internal requirements or contractual obligationsIdentify and lead process, system, and data-quality improvements that increase planning accuracy and efficiencyQualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredMinimum of five years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environmentExtensive experience creating and managing production schedulesStrong understanding of MRP systems, materials planning, and manufacturing operationsExperience balancing production capacity, material availability, labor requirements, and customer demandStrong background in project material managementUnderstanding of business processes and cross-functional relationshipsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTablesProficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and SharePointStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departmentsAbility to manage changing priorities and address production constraints in a fast-paced environment#D800** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
