Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Materials Planner in Wisconsin to coordinate and release materials, build daily SAP schedules, and support production demand. You will ensure inventory integrity, work with suppliers, and apply capacity planning to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes strong Excel skills, ERP/MRP experience, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A BA/BS is preferred and APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years in production planning.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily SAP system reviews and metric analysis to identify shortages and adjust plans.
• Develop production schedules to optimize costs, labor, materials, and machinery.
• Maintain right-sized inventory for stable operations.
• Expedite materials and manage phase in/phase out planning.
• Coordinate material requirements with suppliers and Purchasing to ensure on-time deliveries.
