Job summary

Johnson Controls in Marinette, WI seeks a Supply Planner to coordinate material releases and daily production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will leverage SAP for planning, collaborate with suppliers, and ensure optimal inventory levels while meeting production and customer requirements. A BA/BS and SAP experience are preferred; APICS is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily SAP system reviews and metric analysis to identify potential and actual material shortages, reviewing order progress and rescheduling accordingly.
• Develop production schedules using capacity planning and SAP to optimize costs, labor, materials, and machinery.
• Maintain right-sizing of inventory for stable operations and expedit e materials as needed.
• Manage phase-in and phase-out planning/support as requested by production teams.
• Communicate material requirements to suppliers and the Purchasing department to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support push-outs and expediting to meet production schedules.

Using SAP, create material releases and daily schedules to meet production and customer requirements. Provide support to both internal and external customers within the operation. Perform material planning and capacity planning activities required to support production demand; and satisfy customer requirements. Utilize capacity planning methods and SAP system to develop a schedule to optimize costs and efficiencies with respect to labor, materials, and machinery; communicating plans, schedules, changes and modifications to both functional and cross-functional team members. Responsible for ‘right sizing’ inventory for stable operations. Expediting materials. Responsible for phase in and phase out planning/support as requested Prepare production plan based on forecast requirements and Company inventory guidelines. Communicate material requirement to suppliers and Purchasing department to facilitate inventory deliveries and manage push-outs and expedites to ensure components and services are available to meet production schedules. **SALARY RANGE**: $70,000 - $75,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
