Job summary

PIM Brands, Inc. is seeking a Planner 2 to join the Production/Packaging department at our Somerset, New Jersey site. The role focuses on manufacturing planning, material availability, schedules, and KPI delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates bring 2+ years in production planning and strong ERP/MRP (SAP) skills, along with solid Excel proficiency. The position is onsite with comprehensive benefits, a culture of growth, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with experience or BA in supply chain, logistics, or business.
• 2+ years in production planning, inventory control, and materials management.
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP (SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production specifications to determine processes, tools, and personnel requirements.
• Maintain urgency to support a 24/7 plant.
• Estimate and coordinate raw materials, equipment, and labor for continuous workflow.
• Recommend schedule changes due to material or labor shortages, design changes, or backlogs.
• Collaborate with Operations to analyze, validate, and audit material movements.
• Monitor material movement and consumption in SAP-based systems.
• Maintain inventory levels to meet daily production demands.
• Track stock levels and manage WIP to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Ensure accuracy of material handling within the plant.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and safety rules per PIM Brands policies.
• Work with Operations and Supply/Demand teams to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Support KPI targets: OEE, Schedule Adherence, Shift Adherence, Production Attainment.
• Become a SME in SAP tools & reports.
