Prince Industries, located in Tampa, has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to work with an industry leader! This position reports to the General Manager.

The Production Planner coordinates production activities to meet customer requirements and plans all manufacturing operations for efficient and economical production.

Hours for this role are Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the Master Production Schedule
• Create production schedules, monitor inventory levels, and analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs
• Coordinate with Customer Service to plan new jobs to meet customer requirements
• Schedule and coordinate manufacturing processes to optimize resources and efficiency
• Ensure the accuracy of the production process (E2)
• Coordinate production workflow and schedule shifts based on needs
• Review daily schedules with Operations and update as necessary
• Plan, organize, and evaluate production schedules, raw materials, and labor requirements
• Monitor production progress by walking the shop floor regularly
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to interact effectively at all levels
• Proficiency in computer skills for report generation and data input
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

COMPENSATION

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, with additional performance incentives based on hiring goals.
