Trachte Building Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Self-Storage steel structure building products located in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, has an immediate opportunity for a Production Planner supporting our manufacturing operations.

1. Analyze and implement production and material requirements to meet customer order schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely shipments.
2. Schedule work-in-process throughout the plant to ensure a cost-effective and efficient production process.
3. Review MRP systems and supporting information to determine machine capacity load and demand capacity.
4. Participate in the annual physical inventory process.
5. Maintain MRP accuracy by analyzing and verifying inventory and material back flushing; review and expedite MRP messages; coordinate material demand with purchasing.
6. Perform and reconcile cycle counts to ensure material accuracy in Kanbans, purchased components, and min/max quantities.
7. Develop and implement production strategies to meet changing delivery schedules.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Require a BA or BS Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or related field, with three to five years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered.
10. Understand computerized inventory tracking and record-keeping systems.
11. Demonstrate logical and creative problem-solving skills.
12. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
13. Be a committed team player.
14. Adapt to constant changes, interruptions, and repetitions without loss of efficiency or focus.
15. Exercise independent judgment and action.
16. Have advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
