Job summary

Coneybeare Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Planner / Scheduler to plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities from work order release through completion.

You will enhance production flow, protect customer delivery commitments, and maintain accurate ERP data while collaborating with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to resolve scheduling and material issues. This role requires strong planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review sales orders, priorities, and customer delivery requirements to develop production schedules.
• Create, maintain, and release manufacturing work orders through the ERP system.
• Verify material, components, tooling, and capacity are available before releasing work orders.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to resolve scheduling and material issues.
• Monitor production progress, WIP, and schedule adherence; adjust priorities as needed.
• Expedite critical orders and support schedule recovery initiatives.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, including work orders, BOMs, routings, inventory, and production status.
• Audit and clean up open work orders and ensure completed orders are properly reconciled and closed.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve throughput, reduce WIP, and shorten lead times.
• Support continuous improvement and other operational priorities as needed.
