IPS - AkroFire is seeking a Planner to develop and implement production schedules and manage inventory to meet customer demand. The primary duties involve administrative, non-manual work related to business operations, including responsibility for processes and policies, evaluating solutions, and making recommendations or decisions using professional judgment. The role requires independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

Job Accountabilities

• Utilizes MRP to plan, monitor, and launch production work orders supporting operational goals and on-time customer order fulfillment.
• Handles complex planning activities involving new or variable production techniques.
• Reschedules in response to design changes, labor/material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
• Champions Epicor implementation related to planning and inventory management.
• Manages multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications

Education: Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience to perform job expectations.

Experience: 1-5 years in relevant roles.

Skills:

• Knowledge of procurement and planning best practices in aerospace/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems, especially EPICOR.
• Highly organized, able to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and judgment skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail.
