Job summary

Strive Pharmacy in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Production Pharmacist to review, verify, and dispense custom compounded medications with a focus on precision and safety. You'll perform formula calculations, inspect sterile and non-sterile lots, and collaborate with patients and providers to optimize therapy and uphold high quality standards.

The role is primarily onsite, with responsibilities including accuracy checks, dosing guidance, and adherence to USP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or BS in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly.
• Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs.
• Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance.
• Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care.
