Job summary

Freudenberg‑NOK General Partnership in Milan, OH is seeking a Production Packer FT to ensure accurate packing, labeling, and shipment preparation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will handle kit packing, sealing, skid stacking, bag supply, basic quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
• Previous production or warehousing experience preferred.
• Strong commitment, flexibility, and ability to work shifts.
• Willingness to meet physical demands and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Pack kits into boxes, ensuring correct quantities and proper packaging.
• Seal and label boxes for tracking and identification.
• Stack and organize filled boxes on skids with accurate counts.
• Maintain adequate bags for bagging processes and smooth production flow.
• Perform basic quality checks on prints, bags, and chipboard quality.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized for a safe, efficient area.

Responsibilities

• Packing Kits: The Packer's primary responsibility is to meticulously pack kits into provided boxes, ensuring that the correct quantity is placed and that all packaging adheres to specified requirements.
• Sealing and Labeling: Once the designated quantity of kits is packed, they securely seal the boxes and affix appropriate labels for easy tracking and identification.
• Skid Organization: They efficiently stack the filled boxes onto skids, maintaining an organized layout to facilitate inventory management. Accurately counting stacked boxes is crucial for smooth logistical operations.
• Supply Management: As part of their duties, they ensure an adequate supply of bags for the bagging process, contributing to the seamless flow of production.
• Quality Assurance: The Packer conducts basic quality checks on the products before shipment. This includes verifying the accuracy of print on the kits, inspecting bags for any defects, and ensuring that chipboard quality and print specifications meet rigorous standards.
• Workplace Maintenance: They uphold cleanliness and organization within the designated work area, promoting a safe and efficient working environment for themselves and their colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
• Previous experience in a production or warehousing environment preferred.
