Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership in Milan, Ohio is seeking a Production Material Tech for the 2nd shift to support material handling, inventory accuracy, and FIFO control. You will operate lifting equipment, verify stock, and ensure smooth flow of components.

Working with leads and other departments, you will follow SOPs, maintain 5-S organization, and contribute to continuous improvement while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment and complete daily checklists.
• Maintain stock to designated areas using FIFO methods.
• Verify products while identifying nonconforming items during picking.
• Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until corrected.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area using 5-S; communicate with leads and other departments.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions applicable to the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment and complete Forklift/Order Picker Operators’ Daily Checklist.
• Properly maintain stock to designated areas using FIFO methods.
• Verify products while looking for nonconforming product during the picking process.
• Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency of unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area using 5-S methods. Maintain good communication with leads, supervisors, and other departments.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions applicable to the appropriate job assignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree
