Job summary

Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in Milan, OH is seeking a FT Assembler to maintain part bins, verify parts, and ensure accurate stock levels on the line. You will follow 5S standards, adhere to safety policies, and support continuous improvement initiatives daily.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or technical training, be flexible for shifts, and able to handle the physical demands of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned part bins and daily supply of parts at a station or when roving the line.
• Performs visual verification of parts and stocks of assigned part bins.
• Adheres to all company policies, safety standards, and standard work in assembly.
• Places appropriate parts and quantities on the chipboards with high accuracy.
• Notifies the assembler roving parts or Lead when parts need replenished.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area following 5S model.
• Controls nonconformities and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
• Handles various shapes and sizes of parts and tools to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned part bins and daily supply of parts at a station or when roving the line.
• Performs visual verification of parts and stocks of assigned part bins.
• Adheres to all company policies, safety standards, single point lessons and standard work in assembly.
• Places appropriate parts and quantities on the chipboards with high attention to accuracy.
• Notifies the assembler roving parts or the Lead when parts need replenished.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area using the company’s 5S model.
• Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality either directly or by recommendation through designated channels.
• Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
• Maintains dexterity to handle various shapes and sizes of parts and tools necessary to perform job responsibilities.
