Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Minnesota is seeking a production and packaging associate to prepare component trays, kits and packages for customer orders. You will assemble, inspect and package items for shipping, while maintaining clean workstations and following safety rules.

The role involves materials handling, varying tasks on the production line, potential embroidery work, and meeting quality and productivity targets. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Fluently speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to use a computer to locate information and print reports
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to Bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.
• Ability to work well with others in order to accomplish team objectives.
• Must have high sense of urgency.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure production output meets or exceeds goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and sort materials; handle work orders and calculate material requirements.
• Assemble trays, kits, or packages according to specifications.
• Rotate between different tasks on the production line; operate embroidery machines if required.
• Measure, fold, pack finished goods and inspect for defects.
• Use correct documentation and packaging materials; pack finished goods for delivery.
• Maintain and operate production equipment; keep workstations clean and organized.
• Follow safety rules and meet quality and productivity targets.
