Job summary

LHH is seeking a Production & Packaging Operations Supervisor in Mullica Hill, NJ. The role focuses on leading daily packaging and production scheduling, driving efficiency, and ensuring orders ship accurately and on time in a refrigerated production environment.

You will mentor hourly teams, monitor performance metrics, and partner with warehouse, sales, and customer-facing groups to maintain strong quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or related production environments.
• Experience leading hourly production teams in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and production reporting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily packaging, repackaging, and production scheduling activities.
• Supervise production associates, team leads, and temporary workforce personnel.
• Ensure daily production goals, service levels, and customer commitments are achieved.
• Monitor inventory movement, material consumption, and product traceability.
• Review production performance, yields, and inventory accuracy while identifying discrepancies.
• Coordinate production schedules and workflow priorities to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Partner with warehouse, production, sales, and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Investigate operational challenges and implement corrective actions that improve performance.
• Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of supervisory experience within food manufacturing, food processing, packaging, or related production environments
• Experience leading hourly production teams in a fast-paced operation
• Strong understanding of inventory management, production reporting, and operational metrics
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills strongly preferred
• Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities
• Comfortable working in refrigerated production environments
• Flexible schedule with occasional weekend availability based on business needs
