Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Flint, MI is seeking an Order Administrator to be the first point of contact for customers. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, handling inquiries, quotes, and order updates to support production and delivery schedules.

The successful candidate will manage quotes, coordinate with sales and production teams, and ensure timely communication with customers and dealers.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey information to customers and teammates.
• Strong customer service mindset and responsiveness to inquiries.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and quotes.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor production delays and tickets detailing impact to production scheduled units.
• Respond to customer and sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Serve as primary contact for sales to obtain order status, materials, and delivery details.
• Develop quotes for standard and custom truck equipment installations.
• Coordinate with Fleet to obtain approvals on order reviews and with Manufacturing for changes.
