Job summary

Kemin is hiring full-time Production Operators for its Missouri campus in Verona and Sarcoxie. The role involves assembling raw materials, operating fast-paced equipment, troubleshooting, proper packaging, data entry, forklift operation, and strict adherence to GMP and food safety standards.

Qualified applicants are 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and able to work at both sites. We offer competitive pay, shift premiums for nights/weekends, quarterly and yearly bonuses, 401k match,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in production is preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work across Verona and Sarcoxie sites.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process raw materials for production.
• Operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues promptly.
• Sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.
• Enter data into computer system and operate a forklift.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Procedures and Food Safety standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure product quality meets specs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in Production is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to solve basic problems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).
