Job summary

Kemin Industries is hiring full-time Production Operators for our Missouri campus, with operations spanning Verona and Sarcoxie. Pay and progression are based on experience and skills, with generous shift premiums, quarterly and yearly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package starting day one.

The role involves assembling and processing raw materials, operating manufacturing equipment, data entry, and ensuring product quality and safety for pets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Related experience in Production is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to solve basic problems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process raw materials for production.
• Operate equipment in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report any issues.
• Correctly sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.
• Enter data into computer system.
• Operate a forklift.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and maintain Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ensure the quality of finished product meets specifications and is safe for our beloved pets.
• Other duties as needed.
