Kemin is hiring full-time Production Operators for our Missouri campuses in Verona and Sarcoxie. Pay and progression are based on experience and skills, with generous shift premiums for nights and weekends and quarterly and yearly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in Production is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to solve basic problems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process raw materials for production.
• Operate equipment in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report any issues.
• Correctly sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.
• Enter data into computer system.
• Operate a forklift.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and maintain Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ensure the quality of finished product meets specifications and is safe for our beloved pets.
• Other duties as needed.
