Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate industrial machinery, follow standardized work, and report production data accurately while meeting quality targets.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, or cold. Steel-toed shoes are required to ensure safety in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication in one-on-one and group situations.
• Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability.
• Basic math skills and solid interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of and compliance with all safety guidelines.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive machine or process operations per prescribed routines.
• Follow directions and perform basic adjustments to processes or machinery.
• Operate manufacturing equipment, including Block Room Operator equipment.
• Record and report production numbers accurately and timely.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
