Job summary

Blair Rubber Co. is seeking a Production Operator to operate production machinery, set up equipment, and produce parts per SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain logs, inspect equipment, and follow safety procedures while supporting continuous improvement and meeting daily production goals. Qualified candidates have a minimum high school education, optional forklift certification, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School education or equivalent — Required.
• Fork lift license and certification preferred.
• RF scanners are used or willingness to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management with ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Take initiative to identify and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Operates production machinery per SOPs and specifications.
• Sets up machines and produces required quantities within tolerances.
• Maintains logs of units produced and records errors.
• Inspects equipment and performs basic maintenance.
• Follows safety procedures and required safety checks.
• Keeps work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Supports daily production schedules and quality standards.
