Job Description:
- Responsible for making equipment adjustments to ensure proper specifications are met.
- Performing quality checks and recording results accurately.
- Changing settings on equipment during changeovers.
- Properly recording all production data into the MDIS system.
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area.
- Proficient in computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Experience with quality data documentation and commenting on production/loading operations.
- Ability to recognize measurements outside of specified ranges.
- Ability to read measuring devices, including tape measures (down to 1/32") and micrometers (down to 0.001").
- Ability to follow documented inspection procedures and work orders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including reviewing and revising documents, and navigating Outlook for email communication.
- Ability to learn and operate plant equipment and use common hand tools properly.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for minor process issues.
- Good communication skills with co-workers.
- Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and hazards.
- Demonstrates cooperation with safety, quality, production, and maintenance teams, understanding the importance of task completion.
- Capable of learning procedures and retaining information for ongoing use.
- Ability to use online tools to monitor product specifications and ensure compliance.
- Ability to make machine and process adjustments to meet specifications.
- Trained in safe operation of forklifts and all related equipment, with valid certification or ability to obtain it.
