Mill Operator - Days & Night Shifts Available - $26.00/hr. + $1.00 Shift Differential

Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a Mill Operator based in Hobart, IN. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role involves operating the mill station, managing changeovers, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Candidates should have a background in manufacturing, with preference given to those with tube mill experience. A safety-first mindset, alignment with our Core Values, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.

What you'll do:

1. Operate the mill and supporting stations safely and effectively from entry to bundling.
2. Participate actively in mill changeovers and operations.
3. Maintain and operate processes related to cleaning and coatings safely and effectively.
4. Communicate with team members to meet target goals and support other departments.
5. Troubleshoot equipment, product quality issues, and bottlenecks; maintain cleanliness.
6. Follow customer specifications precisely and ensure their execution in the final product.

What you'll bring:

1. A safety-conscious attitude.
2. Experience in industrial manufacturing, tube mill production, or a related steel field.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Within 3 months, you'll:

1. Familiarize yourself with all new equipment and processes.
2. Support the team to meet productivity demands.
3. Coordinate efforts with mill and maintenance management.
4. Focus production efforts to meet customer needs.
