Job Title: Production Operator - Material Handler

Job Description Summary: This team member is responsible for safely unloading, transporting, and storing production material, ensuring accurate and timely transaction completion.

Essential Functions:

1. Safely and accurately perform all material receiving activities, including unloading trucks, inspecting, sorting, and storing shipments, and verifying packing lists against purchase orders using MRP system.
2. Read schedules to stage material efficiently and accurately.
3. Read Bill of Materials to gather components and pack into kits as needed.
4. Support cycle counting activities.
5. Complete forklift training and operate overhead cranes, lifting devices, and material handling equipment safely.
6. Accurately complete all required documentation and system transactions.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, report malfunctions, and observe safety habits.
8. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certifications/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Industrial Certification preferred. 1-3 years in material handling.
• Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate forklifts, read technical drawings, follow safety procedures, perform mechanical work, basic computer skills, math, and measuring functions. Ability to work in a team, prioritize tasks, and complete documentation neatly. Overtime may be required. Basic knowledge of MRP systems and CDL acquisition are preferred.
