Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Material Handler to join its organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials within the warehouse.
2. Load, unload, and convey materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
3. Perform a combination of tasks under specific direction, which may include shipping and/or receiving.
4. Open containers using hand tools, count, weigh, and sample materials, and use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and recording information.
5. Operate a forklift.
6. Follow department’s material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
7. Verify quantity and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation.
8. Work with Oracle and other computer systems, including both in-house programs and customer portals.
9. Collaborate with a team and other departments to meet production needs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• High School Diploma with 1 year of experience.
• Proficient forklift operator.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Availability to work overtime.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to physically lift objects up to 35 pounds.
• Strong work ethic.
• Basic math skills.

• Oracle or SAP experience.

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $37,295 - $59,672.
