Job summary

Malteurop is seeking a Production Operator to support the Process Manager in executing standard process requirements and safe work procedures.

You will perform sanitation tasks, handle bagging of sulfur, operate transfer equipment, and complete preventive maintenance while adhering to quality and safety standards. Candidates should be able to work all shifts, weekends and overtime, and meet basic education and background check requirements.

Qualifications

• Wlexible shift availability and rotating schedules.

• Valid driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation tasks including steeping, germination and kilning vessel sanitation.
• Manage transfer equipment and conveyors sanitation.
• Chlorinate vessels as directed by supervision.
• Assist with loading 50 pound sulfur bags into ovens and complete preventive maintenance items.

Job description

The Production Operator, under the direction of the Process Manager, executes the essential duties and responsibilities in accordance to the standard process requirements and best operating practices and safe work procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Complete sanitation items assigned by supervisor including steeping, germination and kilning vessels.
• Complete sanitation items on transferring equipment and conveyors.
• Chlorinate vessel assigned by supervisor.
• Periodic loading of 50 pound bags of sulfur into ovens.
• Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance items.

Qualification Requirements:

• Ability to work on all shifts (Schedules are subject to change start/stop times as well as rotating schedules).
• Ability to work on weekends, holidays & overtime.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Pass physical ability (Mask Fit Test) exam.
• Pass a background check and Drug screen.

Protective Clothing Required:

The employee must wear safety shoes, safety glasses, high visibility clothing and a hard hat and a full face respirator when required.
