Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Manufacturing Operator to run reactors, mixers, pumps and related equipment per SOPs, monitor indicators, and perform quality tests to maintain stable production and product quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, prior manufacturing experience preferred, ability to lift, stand for long periods, follow procedures, and use PPE to uphold safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical production processes and equipment operation.
  • Familiarity with chemical safety, PPE use, and regulatory requirements (e.g., COSHH).
  • Ability to operate and perform basic troubleshooting on production equipment.
  • Understanding of quality control principles and product consistency.
  • Accurate completion of production records and follow written procedures.
  • Capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in chemical processing or manufacturing are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE), follow chemical handling procedures, and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Assist with minor equipment adjustments, and report issues to maintenance teams.
  • Accurately complete production logs, batch records, and shift handovers.
