Job summary

Eastman in Wisconsin (Town of Sun Prairie) is seeking a production/warehouse team member to receive, unload, and forward materials, organize and prepare products for shipping, and load/unload shipments per supervisor directions.

You will set up production machines, assist with in-process troubleshooting, monitor equipment, and perform safety inspections. A HS diploma and a commitment to working safely are required; experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety of self and others.
• Ability to monitor plant equipment and adjust processes.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unloads and forwards products, supplies, raw materials and packaging materials.
• Organize and prepare product for shipping/receiving.
• Pack, load and/or unloads product shipping/receiving.
• Interpret orders and coordinate production needs for clean-room and warehouse operators.
• Set up production machines to order.
• Perform/collaborate on in-process troubleshooting.
• Measure, sample and visually inspect product, as required.
• Follows and reviews all safety rules, procedures and practices for safety of other operators, maintenance personnel, and contractors.
• Completes required inspections of safety systems.
• Attends required training sessions.
• Performs other work assigned by supervisor.
