Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Production Operator III for a Fri–Sun 6:00 pm–6:00 am weekend shift at our Oak Ridge, TN facility. You will perform multiple processes in the manufacture of technical ceramics and/or metals, following work order specifications within a team environment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read measurements, and attention to detail. Training will cover processes, safety PPE, and quality inspection tasks, with strong emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Weekend night shift availability (Fri–Sun, 6:00 pm–6:00 am).

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple production equipment per work orders and adjust machines as needed.
• Inspect parts for quality and take action on nonconforming items.
• Transfer parts to next process via computer systems.
• Load, unload and transport product using hand-truck, forklift, crane, or hoist.
• Maintain clean work area, tools and equipment.
• Train incoming operators on processes and procedures.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
