Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is seeking a Production Operator III for the Midnight weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM) to manufacture parts on complex production equipment in compliance with work orders. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and measurements.

You will inspect parts, transfer between processes via computer software, load and unload materials, and train new operators while following safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Understand and act on verbal or written instructions.
• Read and interpret standard and metric measurements.
• Intermediate math: add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Experience with handheld measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Read blueprints using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Detail-oriented with strong listening skills.
• Able to work with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple production equipment per work orders and adjust as needed.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality; address nonconforming parts.
• Transfer parts to next process via computer systems.
• Load, unload and move product; use forklifts or hoists as required.
• Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Train incoming operators on processes and procedures.
• Wear required PPE at all times in mandatory areas.
