Job summary

The Zippertubing Company in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Production Worker I for its air-conditioned manufacturing facility. You will assemble products by hand and may operate industrial sewing machines. A focus on quality, good hand dexterity, and willingness to learn new tasks are essential; sewing proficiency is required.

Training will be provided. The role supports the production team in delivering precise, reliable components for various industries and requires the ability to follow

Qualifications

• Production hands-on experience +2 years (required).
• Familiarity with automated equipment (preferred).
• ISO, LEAN or other quality system experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand drawings (preferred).
• Criminal background check (required).

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials by hand with good focus and hand-eye coordination.
• Operate, tend, and stop a variety of equipment including industrial sewing machines to meet performance standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Ensure conformance to specifications and stop any non-conforming parts or products.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Work to applicable performance standards.
• Take instructions from supervisors and the production manager.
• Adapt to changing work tasks as needed.
• Report visual and audible equipment faults to supervisors.
