Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our fabrication team in Chandler, AZ. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery used in HVAC, plumbing, and piping component fabrication.

You will read shop drawings, load materials, monitor processes, and conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. You will work closely with detailers, welders, fitters, and production personnel, perform routine maintenance, and keep accurate

Qualifications

• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, work orders, cut sheets, and fabrication specifications.
• Load materials and verify dimensions, material types, and quantities prior to production.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Perform routine quality inspections using measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately.
• Conduct daily machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment, including plasma tables, pipe cutting machines, drill lines, beam lines, and other fabrication equipment.
• Identify and correct dimensional or quality issues before materials move to the next stage.
• Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
