Job summary

C&B Piping, LLC is seeking an on-site Production Operator in Gilbert, AZ to support multiple production areas including fabrication, CNC, and finishing. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cross-training to cover various tasks in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and any experience with heavy machinery, reading tape measures, and forklift operation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a heavy machinery environment is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure, documentation, and attentive to details.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and/or heavy equipment; certification is a plus.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or construction experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production processes along with following all standardized work equipment.
• Perform quality checks and inspection as needed.
• Problem solving, continuous improvement, learning to recognize malfunctions before they malfunction!
• Understanding the correct way to handle materials in your specific area. (Fabrication, Finishing, Saw, Blast, Welding, etc.)
• Reading a tape measure accurately. Each department and multiple roles must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Proper PPE, equipment and product handling, comply with all company policies, and with all OSHA Safety regulations.
• Good housekeeping and perform 5S activities.
• Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary or appropriate.
