Job summary

Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Operator I/II, Production to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will perform production of semiconductor devices, set up stations, read drawings, identify discrepancies, and use MS Office along with other test equipment to ensure quality and throughput.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and, for Operator II, 2+ years in production or a regulated environment. Note: shifts may vary and differential pay may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of work experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or other highly regulated industry.
• Note: assigned shift; training hours may vary; some shifts qualify for shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of functions in the production of semiconductor devices and in assembly/test of production units.
• Set up and prepare workstation/assembly fixtures.
• Read and comprehend basic drawings and schematics.
• Identify failure discrepancies per visual or written descriptions.
• Utilize visual aides such as microscopes, visors, and eye loops.
• Utilize computer hardware and software, including MS Office.
• Collect and record data.
• Read and comprehend instructions, memos, and notices.
• Work with various kinds of test equipment.
• May operate UV curing systems and thermal curing ovens; measure and pour chemicals as needed.
