Job summary

Baldwin Richardson Foods (BRF) seeks a Production Operator I to start on our 2nd shift (4:00PM - 12:30AM, Mon-Fri). No experience or high school diploma required; 2nd shift differential of $0.75 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires on 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Role involves operating food packaging equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring safety, quality, and GMP compliance. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to thrive in BRF’s production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months previous work experience, required.
• Must pass mechanical aptitude and critical thinking assessments.
• Fluency in English required due to SQF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and ensure line components function correctly.
• Monitor process, perform checks, and adjust to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Meet quality standards: weights, codes, packaging, and checks.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform line changeovers.
• Communicate across shifts and contribute improvement ideas.
