Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Michigan is seeking a 2nd Shift team member to operate basic machinery in accordance with SOPs and to load and unload materials.

You will monitor machine operations, report issues to supervision, perform routine equipment checks, and keep the work area clean and organized while following safety policies.

This role requires a basic understanding of production processes and the ability to work in a team with fluent English.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
