Job summary

HB Fuller in Bellevue, OH is seeking a Production Operator I to operate equipment and manage processes from raw materials through packaging. You will follow process instructions, monitor run rates, and ensure products meet specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in an industrial setting with machine operation, and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Proficient with MS Office.
Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
Willing to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Three years of experience in an industrial environment with machine operation.
Background in plastics machine operation preferred.
Ability to cross-train to operate all production process equipment.

Responsibilities

Preparation of raw material from staging to weighing.
Operating processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures.
Monitor equipment, keeping processes running at desired run rates.
Complete the initial testing and release of products to ensure no deviations from specifications.
Check labels & packaging material, ensuring correct labeling following existing rules and instructions.
Package the final products in accordance with instructions and HB Fuller quality standards.
Carry out all operations in compliance with the expected quality standards, operating procedures, and EHS rules.
Maintain housekeeping in the responsible area.
Carry out any other duties requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
