Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Production Operator I in Bellevue, OH to operate and monitor plastics production equipment. The role involves handling raw materials, weighing and processing according to defined procedures and quality standards.

You will ensure correct labeling and packaging, perform initial product testing, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following all company EHS rules.

Qualifications

  • Basic ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations and quality procedures.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule.
  • 3 years of experience in an industrial environment with machine operating skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare raw material from staging to weighing.
  • Operate processing equipment according to process instructions.
  • Monitor equipment to maintain run rates and quality.
  • Complete initial testing and release of products to spec.
  • Check labels and packaging for correct labeling.
  • Package final products according to instructions and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to EHS rules in the area.

Position Title: Production Operator ILocation: Bellevue, OHShift: 12-Hr Days - (2-2-3 Schedule; every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday required)Position OverviewThe Production Operator I report to the Production Manager/SupervisorThe job holder has the responsibility to operate the equipment and all of its affiliated processes (preparing raw materials & packaging, unloading, packing & labeling), in compliance with legal and company rules.Primary ResponsibilitiesPreparation of raw material from staging to weighing.Operating processing equipment in line with process instructions and proceduresMonitors equipment, keeping processes running at desired run rates.Complete the initial testing and release of products in order to ensure that there are no deviations to specificationsCheck labels & packaging material, ensure correct labeling following the existing rules and instructionsPackaging the final products in accordance with instructions and H.B. Fuller quality standardsCarry out all operations in compliance with the expected Quality Standards and Operating procedures of H.B. Fuller and Respecting all legal and company EHS-rules.Responsible for housekeeping in his area responsibilityCarry out any other duties requested from the Production Manager/SupervisorMinimum RequirementsBasic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diplomaKnowledge of common software programs (MS office)Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions.Availability to work 12-hour shifts 2-2-3 schedule3 years' experience in an industrial environment with machine operating skill setBackground in Plastics machine operation preferredAble to be cross trained to operate all production process equipmentPhysical EnvironmentRequired to stand for long periods of timeWalk and climb stairsUse hands to remove or lift boxesStretch and reach with arms extendedStoop and bendRegularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistanceTemperature, dust, smell and noise are under normal chemical environment conditionsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.The salary for this role is $20.00 per hour.In addition to your salary, H.B.
